Sports

Sports post
Week 1-4
Over the last few weeks I have done quite a few sports at school. Soft ball and minor games were the first sports we did as a whole school and I really enjoyed that and I also liked going out and practising our class soft ball for the interclass competition that is on now.
Heats
I did well in swimming heats and I entered lots of races. I did three types of swimming and these were Freestyle, breathstroke and backstroke. I did not make it into the finals but I don't really mind.

Keep an eye out for my next sports update.
Thanks for viewing this post.

week 4

Week 4
Monday
Today we set out our maths books and I got onto mathletics for the first time. I have really enjoyed being set work on this website over the last few years and hope I will be set some challenging work on mathletics this year.
School has been fun and I am really listening and taking in all I can. I have been taking lots of opportunities like extension art (see last post) and band. For my Friday sport I have been doing cricket and this  Monday morning I competed in the swimming heats for TAI. I did quite well but for more information on the heats read my sport post.

week 3

Yay. I have been accepted into extension art for 2016. I have just done my first art lesson and we started by learning and painting with the three primary colours. I can't wait to learn what we are doing next week in extension art.
Tech arts
Who would have thought that a sowing a pencil case with a machine would be at all difficult? Well it is very very hard. Other than the pencil case tech arts has been awesome and I am pleased on how my hand made tennis ball has turned out.

Week 2

Tech arts

Over the these last 2 weeks we have been taking part in soft materials. So far we have made a soft tennis ball (that wasn't that soft) by hand sowing 2 peanut shapes together. We learnt how to ladder stitch and stuff  out tennis balls.
Touch
Finally I have a team organised and I am ready to start training and playing touch.
I have had a good second week and look forward to week 3.

Week 1

Day 1
The first day was AWESOME. After being nervous about coming I was pleasantly surprised about how nice and welcoming everybody was.
The next few days were also great and Mrs Crowe is proving to be an exceptional teacher.
Thank you for reading.
